One of the largest summer blood  drives in San Diego County

The AGC Build & Serve Charitable Alliance coordinates the Construction Industry Blood Drive each summer. The San Diego Blood Bank's supplies are usually low after the July 4th holiday, so AGC schedules its drive during this time to replenish the diminished supply.

​AGC Blood Drive Success: Thank You to Our Generous Hosts and Donors!

The AGC Blood Drive was a tremendous success, bringing together the construction industry in support of a lifesaving cause. Through the generosity and commitment of our host companies and donors, this year’s drive collected an incredible 445 pints of blood, enough to help save as many as 1,335 lives.

The Associated General Contractors San Diego (AGCSD) extends its sincere appreciation to all of the organizations that opened their doors, encouraged participation, and helped make this important community initiative possible. Their dedication demonstrates the construction industry’s ongoing commitment to giving back and making a meaningful impact beyond the jobsite.

​AGC's 2021 Blood Drive a Huge Success - 448 Pints Collected for the San Diego Blood Bank and 30 Pints for LifeStream = 478 TOTAL!

​AGC would like to thank its members and board members who showed their support by donating during the AGC's 11th Annual Blood Drive. The SUPER HEROES of the Blood Drive were the Member Hosts and Site Coordinators, who worked hard in preparing, promoting, and executing the drive!

AGC Blood Drive a Huge Success During Critical Time

The AGC Build & Serve Charitable Alliance coordinates a construction industry-wide blood drive each summer, and this year, while we are currently experiencing a pandemic, it was even more critical than ever to move forward with our Blood Drive. This year, all drives were by appointment only, and the San Diego Blood Bank took all the necessary precautions and protocols to ensure a safe environment for its donors.

Well...thanks to all the generous blood donors, and our AGC member hosts...we collected 515 pints (includes Riverside). Currently, AGC is in the #1 spot for all Blood Drives in San Diego County:
