Build San Diego Foundation

Time for an Upgrade: Say Hello to the Build San Diego Foundation!
AGC San Diego’s EGCA Foundation is proud to announce the creation of a rebranded, new 501(c)3, the Build San Diego Foundation.
AGC San Diego officially developed a working relationship with the formerly-titled EGCA Foundation, Inc. in 2012 following a merger with the Engineering & General Contractors Association (EGCA). This association, founded in 1952, represented general engineering contractors in San Diego County - those doing sewer, water, storm drain, utilities, grading, paving, asphalt, concrete, and road building for public and private work throughout San Diego and beyond.
Today, this representation continues in our Engineering & General Contractors’ Council (EGCC), who, with the guidance of our current members, continues to use the foundation to support industry-related student scholarships for our local institutions.
We, at AGC, are thrilled to announce that the Build San Diego Foundation will continue this legacy of construction industry promotion and workforce development via our careers and construction website, outreach to local schools, construction scholarships to local talent and future leaders, recognition to current significant industry leaders, and organization and fundraising efforts via events.
By supporting local programs in San Diego, the foundation helps cultivate the next generation of professionals in the construction industry. We’re proud to be a part of it. To support the foundation, consider participating in its upcoming charity golf tournament.
