Government Relations / Political Action

AGC has a high profile position in the "political arena" at the local, regional, state, and national levels. It is the only association that meets quarterly with the following agencies: Navy, County of San Diego, City of San Diego, Caltrans, San Diego Unified Port District, San Diego County Airport Authority, and the San Diego Unified School District. AGC's Government Relations committee develops positions on a variety of key legislative and policy issues. The PAC committee interviews and endorses candidates, and raises funds to support those candidates, as well as critical infrastructure ballot measures.
